DaTrack is a personal expense tracker built by Quoc Phan. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.

What Data We Collect

Almost nothing. DaTrack stores all your expense data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal or financial data on any server.

• No account creation or login required
• No personal information collected
• All expense records stay on your device

Third-Party Services

DaTrack uses two third-party services:

Google Gemini (via OpenRouter)

• Used for AI-powered expense parsing (text and receipt images)
• Data is sent for processing only and is not stored on external servers
• Only activated when you explicitly enable AI processing (see below)

RevenueCat

• Manages subscription status
• Collects an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts
• No personal data is shared with RevenueCat
• RevenueCat Privacy Policy

AI Processing

DaTrack includes optional AI features that can parse expense text and receipt images. Before any data is sent to the AI service:

• You must explicitly grant consent
• No data is sent without your action
• Text and images are processed in real-time and not stored externally

Data Storage

All expense data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We have no access to your data. If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it.

No Analytics, Tracking, or Ads

DaTrack does not use any analytics SDKs, tracking tools, or advertising networks. We do not track your behavior or serve ads.

Children's Privacy

DaTrack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
