Stampic is a photo stamp app built by Quoc Phan. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.
Almost nothing. Stampic stores everything locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server. There is no account, no login, and no user profile.
Stampic needs access to your camera so you can capture photos and turn them into stamps. The app only reads the camera when you are actively taking a photo inside Stampic.
Stampic can import photos from your Photo Library using Apple's built in photo picker. You choose exactly which photos to import. Stampic cannot see any other photo in your library.
If you grant location permission, Stampic can tag each stamp with the place where you captured it. This helps you remember where a moment happened.
When you share a stamp, Stampic renders a framed image and hands it to the system share sheet. You choose where it goes, for example Messages, Instagram, or Save to Photos. The shared image contains the photo you captured, the frame, and any text you added, such as date and location label.
About photo metadata (EXIF). The shared image is a freshly rendered composite created by Stampic. It does not contain the EXIF metadata of your original photo, such as GPS coordinates, camera model, or the exact capture time. Only the visible contents of the stamp are included in the final image you share.
Stampic offers an optional paid upgrade, Stampic Premium. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.
All stamp data, including photos, collections, tags, and metadata, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and the device file system. We have no access to your data. If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it.
Stampic does not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, tracking tools, or advertising networks. We do not track your behavior, build profiles, or serve ads. There are no third-party SDKs in the app.
Stampic also does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework because we do not track you across other apps or websites. You will not see an App Tracking Transparency permission prompt from Stampic.
Stampic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Since all data stays on the device, no personal data leaves the child's device through Stampic. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us.
Because your data lives only on your device, you already have full control. You can delete any stamp, collection, or all data at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes everything.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
